Media Conservation Initiative

The Media Conservation Initiative took place from 2016-2021 at The Museum of Modern Art. It advanced new strategies in the field of time-based media art preservation and care. During this multi-year project, MoMA hosted several postgraduate fellowships, workshops, and expert discussion meetings (referred to as peer forums) devoted to media art
conservation. The resulting resources are shared on this site.
